World of Maths

On monday room 6, 7 and 8 went to World of Maths in the whare. Pack up is my favorite game in pack up you have to put blocks into a boxes and make it into a box’s so that the top is flat. At world of maths we had to learn how to solve math problems. The first game my group went to was the easiest one it was so easy that even 5 year olds could do it. But it was pretty hard we had to try fill a wooden box with blocks that were small and big. When my group first tried it we got the bottom and middle bit right but there was only 2 left for the top but they were both shaped the same way. Me and my group decided to ask for some help, we asked the world of maths teacher. The world of maths teacher gave us a hint but we still could not get it so we asked for another hint she told me and my group that it was diagonal and we still didn't get it! She told us to put the small blocks diagonal so we did we put one down the bottom one in the middle and one at the top and it worked. I had so much fun at the World of Math I liked playing all the games.

Procedure 1 Kartell: How to make a coffee

Goal: How to make a coffee

Materials

You will need:

• A Cup
• Sugar and coffee
• Milk
• A jug full of Hot water
• A Spoon

Steps

1. Grab a cup and put on bench.

2. Grab the coffee and sugar out and put on bench.

3. Grab the milk out and put that with the rest of the staff.

4. Grab a spoon for the coffee and sugar.

5. Grab the coffee and sugar.

(Put one spoon of coffee and one spoon of sugar into the cup you grabbed out)

6. Grab the milk and put a little tiny pit in not to much not too little just right.

7. Grab the jug full of hot water and pore it in the cup.

8. Mix for a few seconds then done.

We are learning how to write a procedure writing. I think I did well in writing out the materials and steps. Next time I think I could make it more easier to read. I enjoyed writing instructions.
